Katya Soegiharto BEng, MSc

DPhil Candidate

Biography

Katya Soegiharto is a DPhil candidate in Engineering Science at the Oxford e-Research Centre. Her research explores the implementation and scaling of demand-side management, particularly demand response, in developing countries. She integrates natural language processing and predictive analytics to develop theoretical and analytical frameworks that support energy planners and policymakers in identifying context-appropriate strategies to accelerate the global energy transition.

Katya is supervised by Professor David Wallom. She holds an MSc in Energy Systems from the University of Oxford and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia.
